KT Launches Electronic Book Services

Companies KT - the second largest mobile operator in South Korea - has recently launched an electronic book service. This service allows customers to buy and sell digital content online.
Service known as "Qook Bookcafe" is an application that handle e-bookstore e-books or digital content from any form of publication, through devices such as PCs, e-readers, smartphones, and Internet TV..
"Service Qook Bookcafe believed will revive the publishing industry. Users are allowed to buy, sell, or trading e-book online," said Seo Yu-yeol, head of corporate services division KT.
KT, which also has Wi-Fi network in South Korea's largest, has 100,000 digital content available on online stores, including 25,000 graphic novels and audio books 5000. Meanwhile, operating income from the e-book store will be divided by seven to three, between KT and producers of content - adding that the ratio may change depending on the type of publication
